I joined Wood Mackenzie in 2002 after spending six years at Ernst & Young, where I was a manager in the Energy, Chemicals and Utilities group. In my current role I am responsible for the design, development and delivery of the Exploration Service, which helps clients assess the commercial benefits of new field drilling in different sedimentary basins around the globe.

After starting in WoodMac as a Senior Petroleum Economist and focusing on our Global Economic Model (GEM) product, I have been heavily involved in developing our research capabilities in the exploration business. Amongst other things, this has involved managing large multi-client studies, designing modelling tools and spending a lot of time with clients.

Some of my most memorable times with WoodMac have come when I have travelled to meet our clients. As well as the opportunity to present to clients at the most senior level, there is also the excitement of working in very different places. Whether it be dashing to meetings across Manhattan or picking out client offices in the back streets of Delhi, there is always something new to experience.
