"Wood Mackenzie provides a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to work and the social scene is always fun."
I joined Wood Mackenzie in 2005 having previously worked for Logica as a Business Analyst on a number of electricity and gas deregulation projects in the UK and Australia. At that time, I was looking for a new opportunity that would give me more exposure to the commercial world while maintaining the energy focus.
My first role with Wood Mackenzie was as an Upstream Research Analyst in the Europe team, where I developed a detailed knowledge of the region focusing in particular on the UK sector. In November 2007, I took on the role of Lead Analyst of the NW Europe team, responsible for the ongoing research and the continued development of the Wood Mackenzie upstream product suite in the region. In 2009, I transferred to our Singapore office where I now head up the South East Asia upstream research team.
I enjoy the challenges of the upstream sector and working in such a fast moving industry where there is always something to keep me busy and interested. Wood Mackenzie provides a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to work and the social scene is always fun.
My background is in Geography, graduating from the University of St Andrews with a BSc Honours degree in Geography. I also hold an MSc in Environmental Remote Sensing from the University of Aberdeen.
