I currently manage the team responsible for Wood Mackenzie’s Asia Pacific and African Coal Research, based in Sydney.

I joined in 1999, as an Research Manager in the Latin American Upstream Research team. Prior to this, I worked for a global oilfield service company which included assignments in Venezuela and West Africa. The career change allowed me to develop my commercial skills and build on my experience in the energy sector. This was achieved through a combination of formal and on-the-job training, including support through an executive MBA programme.

Throughout my time here, I have worked alongside excellent colleagues and mentors. At Wood Mackenzie, our values are applied in every task to help clients make better decisions. This makes for a positive working environment and one where I have made many friends.

I have enjoyed fresh challenges and achieved continuous development during each year at Wood Mackenzie, which attracts me most to the company. This year is no different, with a secondment to Australia and a move into the coal sector, all possible due to Wood Mackenzie’s growth across the global energy industry.
