After working in a PR role for a UK Distribution company in Perfume & Cosmetics in Surrey, UK, I had the bug to work in the City so joined Wood Mackenzie in January 2001 to assist the senior sales management team.
Since then I have seen many changes from office moves, to growth of staff within London and the Sales team globally. My role has changed to supporting more people, plus looking after the office management and managing administration staff.
Everyone at Wood Mackenzie is very dedicated but also great fun to work with. I enjoy my role as it is very varied and no day is the same. Since having a little boy in 2006 I only work 3 days a week, which can be challenging but also fun.
There has always been development within Wood Mackenzie, which is why I have decided to learn and train within the Facilities Management role. I attended a BIFM course last year, along with coaching from the Facilities Manager in Edinburgh, I plan to attend some more courses.
