I am the GIS / Mapping Analyst responsible for coal related mapping in North and South America. I am located in the Annapolis office.
I spent many years as a Network Engineer and Administrator when I joined Hill & Associates in that capacity in 2005. While working there my role expanded to the mapping department as I was able to marry my artistic abilities with technological savvy in learning and becoming a digital cartographer.
When Wood Mackenzie acquired Hill & Associates in 2007 I chose to leave my information technology background behind and commit full time to GIS / Mapping. During this time with my new team, I have learned an immense amount and have been exposed to using the finest mapping tools available.
Going forward it is not hard to envisage a world where I am instrumental in producing an image of the world’s energy and resources to our various teams and client needs. At the same time I enjoy a career that offers a plethora of security with excellent benefits as well as the ability to keep life and work in balance. I can honestly say I look at the world through larger eyes thanks to Wood Mackenzie; the horizon never seems to end.
