I graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Management Information Systems. Prior to joining Wood Mackenzie, I had 3 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst in the Healthcare industry developing solutions in the patient care environment for HCA Healthcare hospitals in the Houston and Rio Grande Valley area. One of my prior accomplishments was the development of an automated pharmacy prescription request system which helped to increase the efficiency and accuracy of medications provided to patients.
Since joining Wood Mackenzie in April 2007 as a Research Data Analyst for the Upstream Lower 48 team, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. These projects range from light database development to using my programming skills to build enhancements to the Lower 48 Modeling & Authoring system. The work is challenging, and I enjoy the sense of reward and accomplishment after each project.
Although I developed my technical skills in the Healthcare Industry, I’ve grown more professionally and personally here at Wood Mackenzie. The company’s people-centric approach creates an environment that makes it easy for its employees to flourish. We’re provided a wealth of training and learning each year. Being able to work with a team of intelligent, highly motivated people has been instrumental in my learning and development process. It has been an exciting and fun start to my career at Wood Mackenzie, and I look forward to many more exciting fun years.
