After a number of years working as an exploration geologist throughout Australia, I decided that it was time to move back to Sydney and use my technical skills in a consulting environment. Having previously worked in an international consultancy I was immediately aware that Wood Mackenzie offered exactly what I was looking for.

Almost immediately I knew that joining Wood Mackenzie was the right decision. Not only was I able to apply my industry experience across a number of projects, I was also introduced to the economic and financial side of the commodities trade. Although there has been a steep learning curve, the support I required to develop was always available and I can now provide a holistic view to clients on a number of issues.

A great part about working here is the range of opportunities presented. There is scope to move across geographies, commodities and job types, and knowing that this flexibility is available allows me to feel very comfortable about my career with Wood Mackenzie.
