I joined WoodMac in early 2006 as a consultant in the Gas and Power Consulting team based in Singapore. Previously, I was a senior manager in one of the big-four accounting firms, advising clients mostly in the energy and infrastructure space on finance-related matters. At that time, I was looking for a job with more involvement in the energy industry while applying my knowledge and skills on the financial and commercial aspects.
WoodMac offers what I am looking for. Since joining WoodMac, my knowledge in the energy sector has increased dramatically. Not only from the excellent research products but also a result of working together with the experienced research analysts and consultants.
WoodMac also provides flexibility. I have been given the opportunity to specialise in the area that is in my best interests. In addition, work-life balance is also important here.
It has been over three years with WoodMac now, and I was promoted to managing consultant last year. My role now is to manage various consulting projects and become a specialist for Indonesia.
