I joined Wood Mackenzie in 2006 as PA to our Head of Consulting after graduating from University in 2004. The following year I moved into my current role as Junior Consultant within the Upstream Consulting team, based in Edinburgh.

Since I joined the team I have worked on a wide variety of projects, ranging from opportunity screenings through to future market trend analysis. Working alongside the experienced consultants on live projects, combined with the industry training courses on offer means these past two years I’ve had a fantastic opportunity to learn about the upstream oil & gas business.

I particularly enjoy the variety that comes with working within consulting. No two projects are the same and it gives you a good exposure to a whole spectrum of clients, and the array of issues they are faced with. The opportunities for development within consulting are readily available and the other team members are always willing to help out when you need advice or help.
