I joined Wood Mackenzie in September 2008 as a Senior Managing Consultant in Upstream Consulting.

I started my career as a petroleum engineer, working in a variety of technical and commercial roles in Asia, Europe and North America. Working overseas, I was inspired and completed my MBA in international business and development. Upon graduation, I went to work for one of the world’s largest management consulting firms. I enjoyed my time in management consulting, but I longed to get back to more in-depth energy content and research.

Wood Mackenzie has given me the opportunity to leverage my consulting skills, while delving into deep energy industry research and insights – focusing on “strategy with substance”, knowledge-based consulting.

In my current role, I advise clients on the business environment outlook for the energy sector – everything ranging from the impact of geopolitics and the macro-economy, the global competitive landscape for energy companies in both exploration and M&A, to sustainable development policies – in order to help them shape their international growth strategies. I find the work both exciting and rewarding – in serving our clients to deliver a brighter, more sustainable future ahead.
