Gillian Doyle

I joined Wood Mackenzie in 1998 after graduating from the University of Stirling with a BA in French and Spanish. Prior to this I spent a number of years working in Europe and the USA. My first role within Wood Mackenzie was as Administrator for the European Research Team which provided me with an opportunity to better understand both the Energy Industry and Wood Mackenzie. Within a few years, I moved to the Client Services team which sits within the wider Sales & Marketing division.

The Client Services team play a vital role in building and maintaining the subscriptions and relationships we have in place with our clients around the world. We act as a first point of contact where possible and deal on a daily basis with queries from clients and colleagues. The role also allows me the opportunity to use my language skills day-to-day and when traveling to visit clients. I am also the Team Leader for a number of the Client Services team based in Edinburgh and in Houston and recently spent a year working in our Houston office.

It has been very exciting to play a part in the success of Wood Mackenzie over the last 10 years, working with colleagues who are committed to delivering quality service to our clients, and enjoying themselves at the same time!
