I joined Wood Mackenzie in March 2007 as the Marketing Assistant for North American Gas & Power. Previously I did marketing for an educational institution in Houston and coordinated corporate technical training courses. I made the switch because I wanted to advance my career in marketing and Wood Mackenzie was the right fit.
Since being at Wood Mackenzie I have moved from just working on North America Gas & Power to adding in North America Upstream as well. I coordinate the marketing campaigns for the Americas team. I enjoy my job because it gives me the creativity and flexibility to create and design campaigns that I think will further the business. I really enjoy working with all the different departments within WoodMac, such as sales, consulting, and research, but also within the different sectors. It makes each day something new.
Wood Mackenzie has a very unique working atmosphere. I enjoy each day I come into the office. I am challenged at my job, which is a huge reward. There is a lot of potential for growth, not just for the company, but for my personal goals and career. It is nice to work for a company that encourages the development of its employees.
