I joined WoodMac in 2005 as a client manager for the South East Asia region based in Singapore. Prior to that I was a research analyst for several years and then moved into a Business Development role for a price discovery service on crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals in Asia and the Middle East.
My role as a client manager in WoodMac gets me in front of CEO's, Senior managers and anyone who is involved in thinking and worrying about the future of their companies. Knowing that I play an active role in helping our clients achieve their business goals through knowing more and worrying less, gives me great satisfaction. The level of engagement and the related interactions have been immensely exciting and rewarding.
The opportunity to work closely with a wide spectrum of clients and bring answers to their questions whilst generating revenue opportunities for WoodMac keeps me busy and motivated. As you might imagine, no two days in the office are similar. Most of the time, you spend worrying about your clients and how they are getting on with their goals and if they are having all their questions answered around the use of the WoodMac tools and analyses.
I enjoy the time with my colleagues, both in and out of the office, who are some of the best minds in the industry and some of the most fun loving people I know. All of this makes me look forward to coming in to work every day.
